Ricky
Company Director
With 25 years of roofing and construction experience, Ricky is the driving force behind Soteria Roofing. He founded the company in 2020 with a clear vision: to build a team and reputation grounded in consistently high standards, skilled workmanship and a professional approach.
Ricky’s particular passion lies in leadwork and heritage roofing, where traditional craftsmanship, technical knowledge and attention to detail come together. His wider experience within the building industry also gives him a strong understanding of the different elements involved in more complex roofing and property projects.
As Company Director, Ricky’s role extends beyond overseeing projects. Developing the people around him is an important part of his approach, whether that means sharing his knowledge with the team, supporting the next generation of roofers or continually looking for ways to raise standards across the business.

Char
Office Manager
Char is the organisational backbone of the company. Having been with the company for more than a year, she has become the go-to person for keeping everything moving smoothly behind the scenes.
Attentive, reliable and organised, Char supports customers while coordinating the day-to-day requirements that help roofing projects progress effectively. From enquiries and communication to keeping the wider team organised, she plays an important role in the customer experience.
Every good site team needs strong organisation behind it, and Char provides exactly that. She is the engine helping to keep everything in motion from the office.
Adam
Project Manager
Adam brings 20 years of roofing experience to Soteria and has spent five years as a key member of the team. His specialist areas are slate and flat roofing, although his knowledge extends across all aspects of the roofing trade.
As both a Specialist Roofer and Project Manager, Adam combines practical expertise with leadership on site. He is a natural teacher who helps develop other members of the team while ensuring work continues to meet Soteria’s standards.
Professional when it matters and always ready to keep team spirits high, Adam brings plenty of personality to his work. His combination of experience, reliability and approachable leadership makes him an important part of both the team and the projects he manages.

Kane
Project Manager
Kane brings 15 years of roofing experience to the team, including four years with Soteria. His particular strengths are tiled and slate roofing, where his attention to detail and understanding of the trade help deliver the high-quality finish expected on every project.
His knowledge also extends beyond roofing into the wider construction industry. This broader understanding supports his role as a Skilled Roofer and Project Manager, particularly when coordinating work and making practical decisions on site.
Known as the “Dad of the team”, Kane is reliable, supportive and calm. He leads with quiet confidence and brings the kind of experience that gives both colleagues and customers reassurance when he is overseeing a project.

Lloyd
Skilled Roofer
Lloyd has six years of roofing experience, four of which have been spent as a trusted member of the Soteria team. Tiled and flat roofing are particular strengths, although his practical abilities cover all aspects of the trade.
Dependability is a big part of what Lloyd brings to the team. He is punctual, reliable and takes a straightforward approach to his work: turn up, complete the job properly and allow the quality of the finished work to speak for itself.
That consistency makes Lloyd an important member of the site team and someone colleagues can rely upon throughout a project.

Toby
Skilled Roofer
Toby has been part of Soteria from the ground up, having worked with the company for six years. During that time, he has developed into a skilled roofer with a particular specialism in lead welding and leadwork.
Precision matters when working with lead, and this is where Toby’s craftsmanship stands out. His specialist training is combined with wider pitched roofing experience, giving him practical skills across different areas of the trade.
Cheeky by nature and hardworking by habit, Toby brings plenty of character to the team without compromising on the standard of his work. Reliable and dedicated, he is someone the team can count on to deliver.

Max
Apprentice Roofer
Max is two years into his roofing career, with his entire journey so far taking place as part of Soteria Roofing. He has quickly embraced the trade and is already developing the practical skills needed to build a long-term career in roofing.
Carpentry and tiled roofing are the areas Max particularly enjoys. Working alongside Soteria’s experienced roofers and specialist tradespeople gives him the opportunity to continue learning through practical experience on real projects.
Hardworking, enthusiastic and always keen to learn, Max represents an important part of Soteria’s commitment to developing skills within the team and supporting the next generation of the trade.
Harry
Apprentice Roofer
Harry is the newest member of the roofing team and is at the beginning of his career in the industry. Despite being relatively new to the trade, he has already made a positive impression through his attitude and willingness to get involved.
He brings plenty of energy, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to the team. Rather than limiting himself to one particular area at this early stage, Harry is developing as an all-rounder and gaining experience across different aspects of roofing.
With experienced tradespeople around him and an eagerness to learn, Harry has a strong environment in which to continue developing his skills.
Wayne
Master Carpenter
With more than 40 years of construction experience, Wayne brings an exceptional depth of carpentry knowledge and craftsmanship to our roofing empire. He has worked with Soteria for six years and provides specialist expertise for projects involving roof carpentry and associated timber work.
Roofing and carpentry are closely connected, particularly where structural alterations or more complex roof construction is involved. Having Wayne’s experience within the team gives Soteria access to specialist knowledge that complements the skills of its roofers.
Reliable, precise and committed to doing things properly, Wayne has repeatedly demonstrated the high standards that come from decades spent mastering a trade. He is a major asset to the team and exactly the kind of craftsman you want involved when a project requires specialist carpentry expertise.

The team's qualifications include NVQs in pitched roofing and slating alongside specialist training in leadwork, carpentry, single-ply roofing, plastering and rendering.
